The Fire Fighting Panel is a dedicated electrical control panel designed to monitor, control, and protect fire fighting equipment such as fire pumps, jockey pumps, and associated auxiliaries. It ensures automatic and manual operation of the fire pump system during fire emergencies, maintaining adequate water pressure and reliable system performance.
The panel typically includes starters for main fire pump, standby pump, and jockey pump, along with motor protection devices such as MCCBs/MCBs, contactors, overload relays, and short-circuit protection. It is equipped with automatic changeover logic to start the standby pump in case of failure of the main pump.
The Fire Fighting Panel provides visual and audible indications for power availability, pump running status, fault conditions, low/high pressure, and system alarms. Manual override controls are provided to allow operation during emergency situations as per fire safety norms.
The panel is designed and manufactured in compliance with relevant standards such as NFPA, IS 15105, and local fire authority requirements, ensuring high reliability, safety, and continuous operation under emergency conditions
